To run Duplicate Files Deleter correctly you need:

a) .net framework 4.0 installed:

b) open it As Admin:
Right click on the program shortcut or program .exe file, and click on Run as administrator

c)Even if you have already .net framework installed, please ensure that it is enabled
To turn on: Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> Turn Windows features on or off -> Check the box next to Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0( 4.0 )
